Meet Bros react to Censor cuts on Mastizaade song Hor Nach starring Sunny Leone!

Mastizaade starring Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das has become the hot topic with the film being touted as the biggest sex-comedy.

Manmeet and Harmeet Singh of Meet Bros have given a popular number Hor Nach featuring Sunny Leone in twin avatars. While all eyes were set on Sunny’s performance, it was the song that came as a shocker to many. When asked if they think the current norms of the Censor Board will come in the way of this song, Manmeet in an EXCLUSIVE interview with us shared, “I don’t think the Censor Board should have any problem with the lyrics of the song because we have not spoken out of the line. Its little naughty in the antras but it is a Punjabi song. Hor Nach means ‘aur naach’ and it is the most common word used in the Punjabi language so it’s as common as ‘aur’ in Hindi.”

There have been rumours of the film going through numerous cuts but Manmeet feels as artists they have done their jobs right and have no involvement with the video aspect of the number. “The censors may or may not have problems with the visuals as in the video but that’s not our territory. The song however was not initially made for Mastizaade but Milap heard it and picked it up. While jamming we realized there’s a nice ring to it and added a peppy touch to it. If it’s perceived positively then it’s a good wedding song to dance to. It’s got a beat that makes you dance.”

“We simply hope that this song makes people dance more at the wedding as it means dance more and not anything else that people may misconceive,” added Harmeet.

Sunny Leone,who has been the lucky charm for the duo, has often been seen in their music videos. Manmeet feels that the music they make suits Sunny and vice versa. “I think there are certain jodis that has some connection and the same is with Sunny Leone and Meet Bros. Sunny’s biggest songs Baby Doll and Pink Lips came from us and they did really well and I think it’s just that sometime certain faces suits your music, Sunny definitely fits in our box of music. It just suits her. It’s a combination. God blesses certain teams and it works. In Mastizaade there are 2 Sunnys so we are hoping it works twice as much.”

Hrithik Roshan & Sonam Kapoor recreate iconic song from ‘Aashiqui’

New Delhi: Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor are all set to create a sensation with the romantic number “Dheere Dheere” which was launched today.

The song, which is an iconic number from the film ‘Aashiqui’, has been sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh with revised lyrics.

Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter to announce the launch of the song on hotstar as she tweeted, “The wait is finally over. Check out #DheereDheere now on hotstar http://goo.gl/2dfsM7  http://ift.tt/1LEOykB”

T-Series chief Bhushan Kumar, son of Gulshan Kumar, wanted to create the music video to pay tribute to the film as it completes 25 glorious years this year.

The song will feature Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor romancing in picturesque locales in Turkey. The song is choreographed by Ahmad Khan.

Salim-Sulaiman's new song dedicated to Peshawar massacre

"Our song Khalipan was composed after the 16 December 2014 incident, when 132 kids (sic) were killed in a school in Peshawar," said Salim.

He says"When we heard about the incident, I and Sulaiman thought, what if our children didn't come home that day? What would we have gone through? The thought itself was not easy to digest," he added in despair.
Salim is of the view that terrorism is a 'disease' and such gruesome incidents can happen and are happening everywhere in the world.
"This incident happened in Peshawar, but terrorism is a disease that can happen anywhere in the world. We have gone through such incidents earlier. Mumbai has seen a lot of this," he said.
"In Peshawar, small kids were hiding under the benches to avoid the bullets, our song is inspired from that incident," he added.
The composer also said that it would wrong to call the song a mere inspiration.
"No, inspiration is the wrong word, it is a dedication. The song is dedicated to all the children all over the world, who have been sacrificed under the name of terrorism, mainly in Syria, Indonesia," he said correcting himself.
The duo aims that Khalipan reaches to the real culprits who brought misery and despair upon the victims' families.
"Our aim is that this video reaches to those who sponsor terrorism, in any country. We want to let them know what the families and parents of the children are going through. It is indeed very difficult, but not impossible," concluded Salim positively.
